Canada’s TC Energy Corp. and the Albertan provincial government said Wednesday they would scuttle the Keystone XL oil pipeline project, bringing to an end a yearslong controversy over an effort to pipe more Canadian crude to the U.S. The decision had been expected after President Biden used his first day in office to revoke a key permit for the pipeline to cross the country’s northern border, shutting down construction. Obama’s first US Attorney General Eric Holder was arguably the most corrupt AG in US history.  He was the only AG ever held in contempt of Congress charges.  This was for refusing to address the concerns of Congress related to the Fast and Furious campaign. John McWhorter, a black Columbia University linguistics professor, is urging parents who are “truly anti-racist” to pull their children out of a private school that has started to teach far-left critical race theory. Biden has replaced President Trump’s executive orders that sought to ban downloads of the Chinese-owned apps TikTok and WeChat in the U.S., the White House said on Wednesday. In place of his predecessor’s orders, Biden directed an “evidence-based” analysis of risks posed by software and apps designed and developed by a foreign adversary, including China, that may represent an “undue or unacceptable risk to the national security” of the American people, according to a fact sheet. Following several stories claiming that CloutHub CEO Jeff Brain and his social media platform played a "role in the violent attack on the Capitol," the CloutHub founder denounced them as "dishonest" and said he is consulting attorneys on possible legal action against the author. The original article in "The Uprising" by Hunter Walker said that a CloutHub group called "Patriot Caravans for 45" had "violent overtones," despite Brain writing in a post on the group that users should "Report Anyone posting inappropriate content or discussion of violence & they will be deleted from the group." Joe Biden plans to buy and donate 500 million doses of the Pfizer (PFE.N) coronavirus vaccine to more than 90 countries while calling on the world's democracies to do their part to help end the deadly pandemic, the White House said. The announcement of the vaccine donation - the largest ever by a single country - comes before Biden meets leaders of the other Group of Seven advanced economies in England. "The goal of today's donation is to save lives and end the pandemic and will provide the foundation for additional actions to be announced in the coming days," the White House said. Illegal border crossings have exploded by 674 per cent in a year, with 180,034 recorded in May - the fourth consecutive monthly rise. Newly-released figures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show the number of migrants rocketed by more than six-fold from the 23,237 who crossed from Mexico into the United States in May 2020.  Last year's number was far lower than usual because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but this year's figures still spell worrying news for Joe Biden, with 2021 on-track to record the highest number of illegal border crossings since 2006.
