Hawaii’s Lieutenant Governor Josh Green (D) is threatening another round of economic and travel restrictions, supposedly to prevent the spread of coronavirus — blaming the authoritarian measure on residents of the island who are not vaccinated against the disease. Green said all ICU beds at the Hilo hospital are full — more than half with COVID-19 patients — and as of Sunday 58 of the 68 ICU units at Honolulu’s Queen’s Hospital were occupied, Hawaii News Now reported . The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that the developers of the $1 billion PennEast natural gas pipeline have the legal authority to seize land to build the project in New Jersey. The decision was not necessarily along party lines, either. Republican Justices John Roberts, Samuel Alito, and Brett Kavanaugh joined Democrat Justices Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor were in the majority. Conservative Justices Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Clarence Thomas joined liberal Justice Elana Kagan to dissent. Admittedly, people face a difficult decision on whether or not to take a COVID vaccine. So much information tells the ugly story of people who have suffered illness or death because they were not vaccinated. But Americans who have taken COVID vaccine shots and those who have refused to capitulate to the coercion and propaganda are ill-informed about blood clots, as well as about the limits of vaccines as shown by high numbers of breakthrough infections in the vaccinated. If you only consider statistics about the number of people benefitting from vaccines versus lower numbers experiencing bad side effects, you might dismiss the negatives in favor of the positives. Amid US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan, US President Joe Biden on Monday, furnished $500 million for refugee and migration assistance in Afghanistan. Issuing a statement, the White House stated that it was 'important to the national interest to meet the unexpected urgent refugee needs in Afghanistan'. The assistance will be provided via contributions to international organisations, NGOs, US govt depts and agencies. The proposal has now been submitted to US Congress for approval. “The CDC is now taking important steps in improving vaccine protection for pregnant people who are at a higher risk of severe illness from Covid-19,” so the story goes. Yes, the CDC fervently recommends people who are “thinking about becoming pregnant” get vaccinated! — even though 17,000 people have already died by Covid jab , including children, infants and plenty of babies in the womb, as true science reveals. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC director, who calls herself a doctor, outright proclaims on a social media video interview — in front of her glorious CDC banner, to make it official business — that biological men can give birth. That official business is her opinion, not science. Taliban leaders used Twitter and WhatsApp to spread propaganda and establish control over Kabul as they stormed the Afghan capital over the weekend. On Monday, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted that residents welcomed the Taliban and that "the situation in Kabul is under control." The jihadist group used WhatsApp to disseminate a similar message to Kabul residents as it entered the city. In recent days, Taliban leaders have circulated WhatsApp numbers that Afghan regime officials or soldiers could call to negotiate their surrender. The Taliban has used WhatsApp and Twitter for years to share official statements, but in the past week it has escalated its use of the platforms, using WhatsApp to announce new rules for Kabul residents. Two school districts in Colorado and Virginia have recently enacted controversial policies regarding “transgender” students, one regarding the use of “trans pronouns” and the other releasing a guide instructing teachers not to tell parents about a child’s “transition” if they suspect the parents would disapprove. According to the Christian Post , the Loudon County School Board in Virginia voted to approve “ Policy 8040 : Rights of Transgender and Gender-Expansive Students,” by a margin of 7-2 last Wednesday. Included in Policy 8040 is a provision requiring teachers to use the name and pronoun the student or legal guardian wants used.
