Obama on Republicans: "We Have Got A Problem"
Former President Barack Obama says he is shocked at the GOP‘s reluctance to stand up against former President Donald Trump’s stolen election claims.
Obama has written about how he saw “dark spirits” lurking on the edges of the GOP when he was in elected office, but said Monday he never envisioned establishment Republicans staying so silent as Mr. Trump trampled over political institutions and traditional norms.
Obama said that there was a brief moment where it looked as if GOP leaders would take a stand shortly after the pro-Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol to protest the election.
