Liberal late night host Bill Maher lambasted Google and Facebook for suppressing the theory that COVID-19 leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China, and even called the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “very corrupt.” “I find this outrageous. Facebook banned any post for four months about COVID coming from a lab,” Maher fumed during his Friday HBO show “Real Time.” “This should never have had a political dimension, how this disease started. There’s nothing political about it. Whether it came from somebody eating a bat, or whether it came from a lab that was studying bats – not a nefarious plot, it’s just hard to keep things in a lab.”
