WH Now Says Kamala's Trip To Central America Was A Success...

The White House has reversed course and said Kamala Harris' trip to Central America was a 'success', following reports insiders were 'perplexed' by her mixed messages on migration and snippy response to border questions.

'The trip was a success. Was there one moment in one interview that is taken out of context and being used? Yes, but she did what she came to do,' a White House official told Politico.

That review was in keeping with the vice president's self-assessment, which she delivered in the midst of her press conference in Mexico City Tuesday.

'Do I declare this trip a success? Yes I do,' she said.
