Kamala Won't Quarantine After Being In Contact With 2 Covid-Positive TX Dems...
Kamala Harris doesn’t need to quarantine after meeting with Texas lawmakers who later tested positive for coronavirus, according to a spokesperson for her. Harris met with the out-of-towners in Washington on Tuesday. The group of Democrats had fled Texas in order to block a Republican bill that they said would make it harder to vote. Three of them tested positive for COVID on Saturday.
Two of the COVID-positive pols had met with Harris and some of her staff.
“Based on the timeline of these positive tests, it was determined the vice president and her staff present at the meeting were not at risk of exposure because they were not in close contact with those who tested positive and therefore do not need to be tested or quarantined,” Harris spokeswoman Symone Sanders said in a Saturday statement.
