WATCH: Tucker Carlson Slams Democrats’ Growing Hysteria on Voter Integrity Laws
Tucker Carlson slammed Texas Democrat lawmakers on Tuesday for their having fled the state in an attempt to halt the passage of the House's voter integrity bill, and took aim the Democrats' growing hysteria about election integrity laws.
"51 Democrats in the state legislature in Texas left Texas and flew to Washington DC on private jets," Carlson said. "They did this in order to deny the Texas legislature a quorum, and then they shut it down. They shut down the democratic process in their state by leaving Texas. They, in other words, violated their sworn duty to represent their voters."
"They committed what amounted to an act of insurrection," Tucker added as he compared the hypocrisy of the democratic legislators to the "stop the steal" rally in DC on Jan. 6.
