((Scroll Down To Watch Video))

The next time your tire goes flat, you might want to proceed with caution if you're filling it with air. It’s a rare occurrence, but under certain circumstances, a car tire can suddenly explode, leading to devastating consequences.

Every year, dozens of people are seriously injured, or in some instances, killed, while filling their tires with air. The man, who appears on the video above filling the giant tire with air, suffered a traumatic brain injury and was pronounced dead a few hours later at the hospital.

When truck tire explosion accidents do occur, the consequences can be deadly. Due to their size and mass, truck accidents can result in severe bodily injuries or even death for other motorists.

Nowadays, there are even attorneys specialized in these kind of accidents. In 2019, the American tire company Goodyear was ordered to pay $6.7 million in damages in the death of a garbage truck driver killed in 2014 when a tire he was inflating exploded.

On Monday morning, police identified Carlos Ortega as the man who fatally shot the barber. Investigators allege Ortega was also responsible for two earlier shootings that left a 44-year-old man dead and another person critically injured.

Police are trying to determine a motive linking the three shootings. The third and final shooting occurred at The Bladi Style barber shop in the 5700 block of O’Donnell St. in Baltimore’s Medford neighborhood.

After Ortega allegedly committed the other two shootings Saturday, he entered the barbershop and fatally shot 33-year-old Rafael Jeffers, authorities said.

Harrison said detectives linked the shooting to the two earlier incidents, but he declined to elaborate on the possible connection between them.

“We’re processing three different scenes in three parts of the city,” the commissioner said. “While this perpetrator has expired from his injuries, we will still need answers to these questions.”

4. Police Shoot Suicidal Teen with his hands in the Air, THEN Redact the Video to Hide the Truth

((Scroll Down To Watch Video))

Police obscured the last 4 seconds of Christian Hall’s life in a new publicly released video showing Christian's final moments before troopers killed him.

The videos, recorded by the State Police, show the final moments of Christian Hall’s life on the afternoon of Dec. 30, 2020 when he had his hands in the air and was still shot by PA troopers.

Police then redacted the video to hide the truth that Christian's hands were in the air at the time of the kill shot.

The full version of the videos — obtained by Spotlight PA and NBC News from Hall’s parents, whose lawyer received them through a subpoena — shows that Hall kept his hands above his head for 14 seconds in all. The videos show that Hall’s hands were still in the air, the gun in one hand, as two troopers fired another series of shots and he crumpled to the ground.

State Police troopers from outside the local barracks investigated the killing and turned the findings over to the Monroe County district attorney, who ruled it justified, saying the lives of the troopers on scene were in danger.

Michael Mancuso, an assistant district attorney, called Hall’s death a “classic suicide by cop scenario” at a news conference in March.

LITTLE ELM, Texas (NBC) – Four students were arrested at a North Texas High school after they assaulted police officers during an on-campus protest Friday.

Officials said a planned student protest organized at Little Elm High School became disruptive and police were called in to “calm things down.”

Little Elm ranks in the top 15% of the 3,240 high schools in Texas.

Police said Little Elm officers were assaulted and that four students were arrested.

Police did not say how many officers were assaulted, how they were assaulted, or if they were injured.

Social media posts indicate the protest was tied to a report of sexual assault involving a student that other students said wasn’t being addressed by the district.

Both the school district and police, in a shared statement posted on social media Friday afternoon, said, “the demonstration was a result of a social media post the day before that contained inaccurate information regarding an incident that happened a month ago.”

Police and school officials said the school day resumed after calm was restored inside the school.

Len Cloete, who is believed to be an owner of a gym in Rietvleirand, east of Pretoria, was injured during an altercation with police at a Muldersdrift Misty Hills lodge.

In a video doing the rounds on social media, a man who looks like Cloete can be seen drawing a gun and cocking it during what seemed like a heated argument with police officers.

Moments later, Cloete grabs the female police officer’s gun, after which another officer shoots in the head causing him to fall on the ground.

According to police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello, police were responding to a complaint that Cloete was causing chaos at the guest house by fighting with staff members.

“[Cloete] allegedly insulted the police and assaulted two of them with his fists before drawing his firearm which could not cock,” she said.

“He then forcefully grabbed the firearm from the officer’s holster. He was shot by another officer before he could use the firearm he grabbed.”

According to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID), the manager of the lodge requested Cloete to leave and the lodge would refund him, but he refused.

“The security and manager followed him to his room and requested him to leave, then he became more aggressive,” said Ipid’s Graca Langa.

“Police officers were called to come and assist. When the police arrived, he started fighting with the officers. He took a firearm out of the bed drawer and cocked it and one bullet fell out, and it is alleged he then disarmed a police officer of his firearm.”

Langa said Cloete was now in possession of two firearms when an officer took out his service pistol and shot him in the head.
